Jocelyn Sausner, DVM

Dr. Sausner was born and raised in Massapequa, New York. She completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honors at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Sausner then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine with her clinical year at North Carolina State University. After veterinary school, Dr. Sausner worked as a small animal veterinarian at a hospital outside of Raleigh for over 3 years before joining the Plantation Midtown team in 2021.

Dr. Sausner’s special interests include preventative health care, internal medicine, and dermatology. She strives to provide a low stress experience to her patients. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, practicing yoga, and spending time on the water. Dr. Sausner’s life would not be complete without her veteran husband, their son named Myles, and their 2 rescue dogs, a hound mix named Zulu and a Labrador Retriever named Camellia.
