Dr. Nicholas Alonso has been a South Florida native all of his life. He completed his Bachelor of Biology degree at the University of Central Florida in 2020. He then began veterinary school at the University of Florida to acquire his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with honors in 2024. There, he was involved in many campus organizations including the Veterinary Business and Management Association and Christian Veterinary Mission.
Dr. Alonso is a small animal practitioner with a focus on canine and feline species. His special interests include preventative medicine, animal nutrition, dermatology, dentistry, and end of life care. Dr. Alonso is also a certified “Fear-Free” practitioner, meaning he undertook extra training to help his patients have the most enjoyable veterinary visits possible.
In his free time he enjoys cooking, playing volleyball, gaming, attending Bible study groups, hiking, and visiting National Parks. He is the proud owner of a Persian cat named Luna.
