Dr. Melissa Parsons, DVM
Dr. Parsons is originally from Canada, having moved here in 2015 to enjoy everything Florida has to offer and hasn’t looked back! Dr. Parsons completed a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College. She prides herself in providing individualized care tailored to the needs of the client and the pet. Dr. Parsons has a strong interest in dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, and pain management. At a very young age, Dr. Parsons became involved in animal rescue and continues her work today, helping homeless animals receive the care they need and find homes. She has three rescue dogs and two rescue cats of her own.
Jocelyn Sausner, DVM
Dr. Sausner grew up in Massapequa, New York. After completing her Bachelor of Arts with Honors at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Sausner earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine with her clinical year at North Carolina State University. After veterinary school, Dr. Sausner worked as a small animal veterinarian at a hospital outside of Raleigh for over 3 years. Dr. Sausner’s special interests include preventative health care, internal medicine, and dermatology. She strives to provide a “Fear Free” experience to her patients. Dr. Sausner’s life would not be complete without her veteran fiancé and her 2 rescue dogs, a hound mix named Zulu and a Labrador Retriever named Camellia.
Dr. Hanna Hausammann, DVM
Through our collaboration with Convenient Vet Care, Dr. Hausammann helps care for both our small animal and exotic patients. Hanna-Katharina Hausammann was born in Vienna, Austria, and grew up in Boca Raton, Florida. She returned to Austria to study veterinary medicine, and has since returned to South Florida to practice. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, she obtained her Magistra medicinae veterinaeriae (M.V.M.) from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, Austria. Her special interests include analgesia/anesthesia and internal medicine. She shares her home with two Australian Shepherds named Finn and Oakley, a cat named Lily and two horses named Luna and Ponita.
